Life is Beautiful!

As is clear from the title of this blog, I sincerely believe that life is beautiful and amazing. Even if there exist problems, illnesses, calamities and disasters. It’s impossible to live isolated from the reality, where, alas, misfortunes happen. If I had a magic wand, I would flick it to find cure for fatal diseases, cease all wars and conflicts and change the life of every person on earth into the utopia proposed by brilliant John Lennon in his manifesto Imagine:

«You may say I’m a dreamer,
But I’m not the only one.
I hope some day you’ll join us
And the world will be as one.»

The other day we were discussing with my stepson, what we would have done, if, for example, we won the lottery. Rather, which part of the benefit we would give to charities. We came to the agreement at 10 percent. However, a sudden grand financial success is not yet expected, and I try to do what am capable of.

Taking my morning cup of tea today, I stumbled on a cry for help on Facebook, which I could not pass by indifferent. I’m sure that each of us is able to put his brick in the foundation of the “brave new world”, simply remaining a humanist and helping those currently in need.

Just think that even a modest donation to any particular philanthropic fund could become that very drop that will fill someone’s glass.

Here are just a few links to important, in my opinion, sites to contribute:

Gift of Life

Charitable Foundation of Konstantin Khabensky

Make a step

Doctor Liza Foundation

I wish with all my heart that none of you ever encountered on personal experience the problems that they solve, but only helped their prompt resolution. I really hope it is possible!
